Planning Board approves site plan for Green River Road house

Planning Board · Meeting of March 3, 2021

ALFORD — Planning Board approves site plan for new house at Green River Road. The board unanimously backed the application by Nicholas Diamond and Laura Bailyn to construct a house exceeding 4,000 square feet at 123 Green River Road. The approved site plan includes a driveway plan signed by Fire Chief Steve Berkel, a lighting plan with back-shielded solar lights, and an elevation plan showing the structure at 32 feet 6 inches from grade to chimney.

The board determined the Scenic Mountain Act does not apply to the site, tree clearing is limited to four trees at the house site, and the Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit.
