ALFORD — Planning Board approves ADU with garage at 274 East Road. The board voted unanimously to move forward with Timothy J. Scholler and David J.
Press's proposal, which includes a shared septic system approved by Conservation and Board of Health. The approval requires Selectboard endorsement and landscape plantings every eight feet for seventy feet on the south side. Separately, the board held preliminary review of a six-hundred-foot driveway and four-thousand-square-foot house with three accessory buildings at 30 North Egremont Road, scheduling a November 24 site visit with the fire chief to assess driveway safety and abutter notification requirements.
