ALFORD — Planning Board unanimously approves special permit for 636-foot driveway. The board granted the permit under Alford Zoning Bylaw Section 7.5.3 to serve a proposed 4,000-square-foot two-story residence at 30 North Egremont Road for Robert and Eileen Rominger, subject to final signoff from the fire chief. The site plan review also passed unanimously with conditions requiring no clearing of wooded areas and notification to the Planning Board of any design changes.
The 58.5-acre parcel situates the house in the northeast corner, 300 feet from the pond overlay district.
