Planning Board continues solar review, subdivision matters.

ALFORD — Planning Board continued three major matters to a special meeting May 19. The solar array application at 281 West Road requires a revised plot plan with property lines, driveway measurements, and specifications for three 10-foot trees needed for year-round visual screening per town regulations; Andrew Sodroski recused himself from discussion. A Form A subdivision on Green River Valley Road involving owners Kent Peer-Nous, Mary Anne Hayes, and Judith Corr was continued pending submission of plans showing how proposed lots will combine with existing properties; the board clarified it is not endorsing buildability.
A surety review for work at 130 and 132 Green River Road was also continued, with members planning a site visit to the cul de sac.
