Select Board approves three nominees to Alford Link board.

Alford Select Board unanimously appoints three to Alford Link. The board named Adrian Drury, Bruce Schreiber, and Paul Kaplan to fill vacancies created by the resignations of Jay Weintraub, Jim Hall, and Joe Nicolosi; Tim Ortwein and Jim Hall had interviewed the candidates and recommended them. Peter Puciloski moved the appointment, seconded by Peggy Rae Henden-Wilson.
The board also unanimously approved eliminating the municipal caucus and replacing it with nomination by submission of nomination papers signed by 10 registered voters, implementing provisions of a Governor Baker-signed law allowing absentee ballots through June 30, 2021. The Annual Town Election is set for May 18 from 2 to 6 PM.
