Two Alford Property Transfers Recorded in September, One Priced
Alford recorded two property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26. One, at 150 Green River Valley Rd., sold for $750,000 on Sept. 25. The other, at 87 Whites Hill Rd., transferred from Mark and Margaret Batten to Alford Town Conservation on Sept. 21; a price had not yet posted to registry records as of this report. With only one recorded price and one of the two transfers going to the town's conservation program rather than a private buyer, this period's data is too limited to establish a median sale price or characterize overall market conditions in Alford.
