Alford Records Four Property Transfers in September, One Priced at $750,000

Four properties changed hands in Alford between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, according to deeds recorded at the Southern Berkshire Registry of Deeds. Only one sale, 150 Green River Valley Road for $750,000 on Sept. 25, carries a recorded price so far, setting the period's price range and median at that figure. The other three transfers, including two parcels acquired by Alford Town Conservation on Crooked Hill Road and Whites Hill Road, have not yet shown a price in registry records. With three of four sales unpriced, the data available this period is too limited to characterize overall market conditions.
