Select Board approves Civic Plus website contract, Great Barrington transportation deal

ALFORD — Select Board approves website redesign and transportation contracts unanimously. Chair Bruce Schreiber and members Peter Puciloski and Peggy Rae Henden-Wilson voted to accept the Civic Plus website contract and a $3,852 transportation services agreement with the Town of Great Barrington, effective through June 30, 2021. The board tabled action on the Southern Berkshire Volunteer Ambulance's FY2022 assessment, which jumped from $2,600 to $27,000 under a revised Equalized Valuation methodology that includes $15,000 for a new ambulance.
Board of Health officer Jayne Smith reported declining COVID-19 trends in Berkshire County and was authorized to exercise discretionary judgment on Berkshire Health Alliance grant participation.
