Select Board · Meeting of February 10, 2025
Alford Select Board votes to research town charter. Chair Bruce Schreiber inquired with the Massachusetts Attorney General's office to locate the document; the office charges $25 per hour after two free hours with research expected to take approximately four hours and cost about $100. Peter Puciloski moved approval and the motion carried unanimously, 3-0.
The board also approved a new election tabulator purchase for approximately $2,000 using state funds for the May 20 election, with vendor LHS Associates providing training and backup services, and authorized the town highway superintendent to send a formal letter to a resident who repeatedly took salt from the municipal shed.
