Select Board unanimously approves five thousand dollar sanitation carryforward

Alford Select Board unanimously approves five thousand dollars for cardboard compactor pad. The board authorized the five thousand dollar carryforward from the Sanitation account, with Chair Bruce Schreiber moving and member Charles Ketchen seconding. Member Peter Puciloski, arriving at 6:30 p.m., voted with the board.
Highway Supervisor Mr. Horrigan reported that Alford residents can now participate in the Town of Egremont's mattress recycling program pending formal approval.
