Select Board unanimously appoints Elkin and Cobb to town boards

Alford Select Board appoints members to two town boards. The Select Board unanimously approved appointments of Cia Elkin to the Conservation Commission and Cia Elkin and Lenita Cobb to the Board of Registrars. In other business, the Board of Health reported a flu and COVID vaccine clinic scheduled for December 2 at W.E.B.
DuBois Middle School. The board approved easement documents for the West Road Bridge project and a Recycling Policy Contract. Charles Ketchen reported preliminary discussions with Berkshire Hills Regional School District regarding a possible school merger but stated he has nothing concrete to present.
