Alford Select Board requests cost estimates for firehouse storage addition. Select Board members asked the Fire Department to develop cost estimates for an 8-by-30-foot building addition for equipment storage to present at Annual Town Meeting. Board members also approved speed limit sign updates based on a 1980s state DOT agreement, with some limits increasing to 40 miles per hour.
Southern Berkshire Ambulance's $27,275.39 fiscal 2024 support request was forwarded to the Finance Committee for annual-meeting consideration.
