Alford schedules special town meeting for November 19. The Select Board cleared the date to consider an Accessory Dwelling Unit bylaw signed into state legislation and set to take effect in February 2025. The Planning Board will coordinate with Town Counsel to draft the article.
Highway Superintendent TJ Horrigan reported the West Road Bridge contractor awaits state approval to begin sheathing before October 1st and announced the town received a Certificate of Appropriateness for an ADA walkway to the Town Offices building.
