ALFORD — Select Board reorganizes post-election, unanimously naming Charles Ketchen chair. The board approved prior minutes and heard updates from department heads on reopening, highway repairs, and town property. Jayne Smith, Board of Health Officer, reported that Governor Baker lifted the mask mandate for fully vaccinated individuals and that the town office may reopen with proper signage.
Highway Superintendent TJ Horrigan reported roof repair work awarded to Scott Wodecki, with six to eight weeks needed for material delivery. The board unanimously authorized EDM of Pittsfield to conduct a structural review of 9 Alford Road with Jim Hall as town liaison.
