Alford Select Board unanimously approves $13,680 estimate for Town Hall roof repair. Chair Bruce Schreiber made the motion, seconded by Member Peter Puciloski, with Highway Superintendent TJ Horrigan presenting the estimate from Kuhn Copper; the town plans to seek voter approval for funds at a November Special Town Meeting. The board discussed a National Grid pole replacement dispute costing the town over $13,000 in fiber wire relocation work after contractors installed poles contrary to approved plans.
In septic matters, the board agreed to annual inspections for a Jet 750 treatment system at 151 East Road once the resident provides a signed contract with Clearwater Recovery and a current inspection.
