Alford Select Board hears bridge construction progress and reviews administrative updates. Highway Superintendent Casey Searing reported that West Road Bridge approaches will be poured August 26 and 27, with utility relocation scheduled for mid-September and deck paving pending favorable weather. Chapter 90 reimbursement for road work was accepted.
The board approved posting on the town website regarding the Egremont Green Committee's October 11 community event and the September 14 Josh Billings race.
