Alford Select Board postpones May 20 meeting before annual election. The board heard a highway report on speed complaints on East Road and discussed potential speed surveys for East, West, and Green River roads, with board member Peggy Rae Henden-Wilson suggesting outreach to biking communities on traffic violations. Mr.
Horrigan reported ongoing coordination issues with National Grid over pole replacement work on Green River Road and noted that ADA walkway plans are expected soon. An accessory structure special permit hearing was scheduled for June 10, 2024 at 6 p.m. Tim Ortwein reported the Municipal Aggregation Plan expects final approval in June, with Colonial Power anticipated to pursue market rates in August.
