ALFORD — Select Board approves tree services contract. The Alford Select Board unanimously approved a contract with Northern Tree for tree services at daily rates of $1,880 for a two-person crew and $2,440 for a three-person crew, following a recommendation by Tree Warden Monty Green. The board also discussed a borrowing authorization for capital projects including an ADA walkway at Town Offices, parsonage renovation, and a Fire Station addition.
Free Cash for FY2024 was certified at $422,742 with Alford Link Retained Earnings at $82,478.
