ALFORD — Select Board votes unanimously to hire EDM for structural evaluation of 9 Alford Center Road. Peter Puciloski moved approval of the contract to assess code and structural deficiencies; the motion passed without dissent. In executive session, Roxanne Germain, town treasurer, presented payroll restructuring recommendations and the board approved a one-time $750 bonus for weekly paid employees as the town transitions to bi-weekly pay and a Sunday-Saturday work week, effective with 90 days' written notice.
Public health nursing services will shift from the VNA to Tri-Town Public Health nurses.
