ALFORD — The Alford Select Board approved prior minutes and received updates on vaccine outreach and town meeting logistics. Board of Health Officer Jayne Smith reported requesting a Community Health Program van visit to offer COVID-19 vaccines in town and noted declining infection rates in Berkshire County. Smith said she plans to request a formal seat at the school district's COVID-19 planning table alongside School Committee Representative Jeff Blaugrund.

Town Meeting is set for May 18 from noon to 6 p.m., with Select Board members making motions for Articles 1, 2, 12, and 13. Highway Department representative TJ Horrigan reported seeking an estimate for Town Hall roof repairs.
