Alford Select Board approves highway repairs, appoints constable to three-year term. The board unanimously approved payment for plow truck repairs from the Snow and Ice account, unanimously accepted a Green Toad Tree Healthcare bid for ornamental tree fertilization, and unanimously appointed Peter Schoeffer as Constable after confirming his availability for elections over the next 18 months. Speed limit implementation on Alford Road and East Road is scheduled for mid-July, with remaining town roads following by end of July.
The board deferred drainage work at 212 West Road pending acquisition of a written easement.
