Alford approves Planning Board appointment. The Select Board voted unanimously to accept the Planning Board's nomination of Andrew Sodroski to the planning board, after the Planning Board itself voted unanimously to appoint him. During Annual Town Meeting warrant review, member Peggy Rae Henden-Wilson proposed adding articles to extend the terms of the town's Moderator and Constable from one year to three years.
The board also discussed restoring pre-pandemic levels of police speed-detail patrols and considered a request from the Alford Church to use town hall for a Methodist Conference meeting.
