Select Board approves new representative to regional health collaborative

Alford Select Board unanimously approves Gallagher as representative to regional health collaborative. The board approved resident Lee Gallagher on motion by member Peggy Rae Henden-Wilson and seconded by member Peter Puciloski. The board also discussed a significant library service cost increase from Great Barrington, with the annual assessment rising from $1,900 to $10,000 for fiscal year 2024, and noted that West Stockbridge Public Library offers Alford residents free access as an alternative.
