Select Board approves mask policy, advances FY2023 budget review.

Alford Select Board unanimously adopts mask policy aligned with CDC guidelines. Board of Health Officer Jayne Smith presented the policy and will upload it to the town website; the board also advanced a joint Select Board and Finance Committee meeting scheduled for March 21 at 5:30 p.m. to finalize the FY2023 budget draft, which Finance Committee member Tim Ortwein reported represents a 3.5 percent overall increase. The board additionally signed an agreement with Adam Cost of Mead, Tallerman and Costa as town counsel, effective March 16, 2022.
