Select Board approves health collaborative funding and sets May town meeting.

Alford Select Board backs health collaborative with $2,139 in combined funding. The board unanimously approved $1,514.20 in ARPA funds for FY2022 and $625 in operating funds for FY2023 to support the Southern Berkshire Health Collaborative, which will provide public health nursing after VNA services ended. Library Librarian Marion Ortwein resigned effective June 30, and the board scheduled the Annual Town Meeting for May 10 at 6 p.m. at the Fire House and the Annual Election for May 17 from noon to 6 p.m., with remote participation allowed through July 14.
