Select Board approves Green River Road accessory structure with conditions

Alford Select Board approves special permit with conditions. The board granted a permit for an accessory structure at 65 Green River Road, requiring owner Lisa Roth to permanently remove the structure's kitchen, prohibit short-term rental use, and submit to annual inspections. Board members Charles Ketchen, Peggy Rae Henden-Wilson, and Peter Puciloski imposed $300 daily fines for any violations.
Planning Board Chair Larry Gadd called the conditions reasonable, and Puciloski will draft the formal order before the next meeting. The board also approved a Board of Health inspection letter for 11 Rowe Road and heard reports on highway improvements including fog-line painting and parking lot work.
