Alford Select Board unanimously appoints Bridghe McCracken to Conservation Commission. Henry Flint advocated for the appointment; the board approved without dissent. The board also authorized exploration of a $5,700 Bizhub replacement machine and directed Secretary Roxanne Germain to research a new phone system to restore voicemail-to-email functionality.
Chair Bruce Schreiber said he would draft a letter to the school superintendent and School Committee requesting details on how schools plan to address security concerns flagged by the New Marlboro Police Chief at two regional schools.
