Select Board approves budget transfer and Alford Link stabilization funding.

Alford Select Board approves budget with 3.5 percent growth and reserves transfers. Finance Committee Chair Joan Rogers reported the budget increase is modest despite inflationary pressures on fuel and supplies. The board unanimously approved a $40,000 transfer from free cash to Stabilization and moved $54,100 from Alford Link's retained earnings to cover anticipated insurance cost increases and debt service.
The board also appointed Shannon Poulin as Conservation Commission Clerk and referred a transportation agreement with the Town of Egremont to Town Counsel for review.
