Alford Select Board unanimously backs architectural and mechanical studies for town facilities. Chair Charles Ketchen and members Peggy Rae Henden-Wilson and Peter Puciloski approved EDM authorization to complete phases two and three of a building evaluation before presentation at town meeting. The board also unanimously appointed Ruth Seidler to the Historical District Commission, replacing the resigned Margareta Thaute.
In a separate matter, the board discussed Air BnB regulation, with member Shirley Mueller noting the Planning Board favors taxation over prohibition; Puciloski will accelerate the zoning by-law review with KP Law counsel.
