Alford Select Board approves $750 stipend for Town Clerk using ARPA funds. Member Peter Puciloski moved and Chair Charles Ketchen seconded the retention payment; the motion passed 2 to 0 with Henden-Wilson abstaining. The board also heard from Lucy Prashker of the 8 Town Regional School District Planning Board, which is exploring a consolidation that would merge two district high schools into one new building with vocational training.
The state approved $57,946 in WRAP highway funds for fiscal 2023, and new clothing recycling boxes are already three-quarters full.
