Alford Select Board approves $492,000 Larochelle Construction contract for ADA walkway. Board members Charles Ketchen, Peter Puciloski, and Bruce Schreiber (via Zoom) voted unanimously after Tim Widman presented two bids; Larochelle's offer was $102,264 lower than Tierney's. Highway Director Casey Searing requested a $25,000 warrant article for a digital-band radio repeater and flagged a proposed five-percent salary increase for FY27.
The Southern Berkshire power co-op's rate will rise to $0.15000 per unit through November 2028 due to a regulatory event, still below National Grid's $0.15372 rate.
