Alford Select Board approves ARPA allocation, marks 250th anniversary with signs. Charles Ketchen, Peggy Rae Henden-Wilson, and Peter Puciloski unanimously approved a $45,000 allocation of remaining ARPA funds to Alford Link for network infrastructure upgrades. The board also authorized eight commemorative signs marking 250 years since the town's incorporation in 1773, with costs covered by the Alford Historic District Commission.

A $3.265 million road construction and ADA walkway project is underway with federal funding and expected to complete by June 2027. The board appointed Tim Ortwein as Auxiliary Police Officer for elections and authorized Town Counsel to develop a short-term rental registration process.
