Alford Planning Board schedules December 18 site visit for proposed solar installation. Board members heard from Brian Torrico of Grenergy Solar about a 10-12 foot tall ground-mounted array planned for 290 East Road, sited in a gully with hedgerow screening to minimize visibility from the road. The board also advanced discussion on bylaw revisions, with the Select Board to obtain a cost estimate from Town Counsel for the work, and discussed tracking building permits issued both with and without board appearances.
