ALFORD — Planning Board approves Special Permit for existing West Road driveway. Architect Dana Bixby and applicant Chris Cannon secured approval for a 1,868-foot private driveway at 139 West Road; the Fire Chief has already approved the route, though applicants must construct a required turnout by year-end. In a related case, the board unanimously granted a 90-day extension and hearing continuation for a second driveway permit at 143 West Road, allowing the applicant and architect time to address Fire Chief concerns on the difficult site.
Board member Shirley Mueller recused herself from both matters.
