Historic District Commission funds documentary video project

Alford's Historic District Commission unanimously approves funding for documentary video project. The commission voted to fund Scott Whitman's documentary about Alford's history using the Alice Pederson memorial fund, designated specifically for historical purposes. Jim Hall agreed to inform the Select Board and confirm the appropriation with the town accountant.
The commission also submitted its 2026 budget request of just under $8,000, incorporating a $2,000 Local Cultural Council grant received in 2025.
