Conservation Commission approves bridge compliance at Whites Hill Road.

ALFORD — The Alford Conservation Commission unanimously approved a certificate of compliance for a permanent bridge at 59 Whites Hill Road. Engineer Emily Stockman confirmed the eight-foot river width and 15-foot bridge span met the terms of an Order of Conditions issued in 2018, which had since expired. Members Rich Ciotola and Kent Peer-Nous verified site stability during inspection.
The Commission also advanced negotiations on a shared conservation agent with Becket and the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, approved by the Select Board.
