ALFORD — Historic District Commission reviews Department of Transportation grant for Parsonage walking trail. The Commission reviewed a draft application for a shared winter streets and spaces project to create an ADA-compliant walking trail from the Parsonage to a wetlands overlook; members Tricia Bevan and Julie Scott prepared the application after consulting with trail-maker Braxton Shafiroff. The Commission also began planning to expand the historic district to include the Parsonage, Botham Park, and the Triangle, with a special informational meeting scheduled before the May Town Meeting.
