Alford Select Board establishes tax rate at $4.95 for fiscal 2025

Alford Select Board unanimously establishes $4.95 tax rate for fiscal 2025, no change from prior year. Total FY2025 assessments are $376,455,596 against a levy capacity of $1,863,455.23. Assessors Clerk Tammy Blackwell reported that property valuations across the town increased about 6 percent, leaving the town with $252,500.80 in excess levy capacity.
