Alford Select Board approves debt exclusion ballot question for May 20 election. Chair Bruce Schreiber led the board in unanimously backing the debt exclusion, which would exclude facility improvement costs authorized at a November 2024 Special Town Meeting from property tax levy limitations. The board also unanimously approved an amendment to the Southern Berkshire Regional School District operating and transportation budget to reflect a downward adjustment submitted April 30.
In a separate unanimous action, the board declined to exercise its right of first refusal on a Chapter 61A lien release for 64 Green River Road.
