Alford Select Board appoints interim Highway Superintendent with mentor consultant. The Board voted unanimously to engage Monty Green as consultant mentor at $45 per hour while appointing Casey Searing as interim Highway Superintendent on a 2-0-1 vote, with Board Member Charles Ketchen abstaining due to a family relationship. A 90-day trial pay package raising Searing to $33 per hour and Mr.
Coons to $29 per hour passed on the same vote. The Board also decided not to continue a sealant project on Alford Center Road.
