Alford Select Board appoints interim Animal Control Officer and Procurement Officer. The board appointed John Drake, the Animal Control Officer from West Stockbridge, as interim ACO for an annual salary of $3,305 and expense account of $500, with Drake suggesting the town explore joining Stockbridge, Lee, West Stockbridge, and Tyringham in shared kennel services. Peter Puciloski was appointed Procurement Officer in a 2-1 vote with one abstention.
Highway Superintendent Casey Searing reported the road sealing contractor agreed to bill for completed work only, and line painting is estimated at $4,000.
